London, England - An Entire World In One City

The slogan "An entire World in one city" was earned, because London has
such a variety of attractions, sightseeing, museums, galleries, historical
places, operas, pop and rock festivals, classical orchestras, movie theatres,
discos, restaurants, cafes, boutiques and many other places, that one
doesn't have to go anywhere else, to possibly get more.

It is a city of beauty and elegance,
meanwhile mainly casual, conserva-
tive and attractive, original people are
filling the streets. But there is also the
younger generation, who has its own
style - and all together are helping to
create the whole picture. Everybody is
included in this large neighborhood.
The city starts its history in 1793, when
Lieutenant-Governor John Graves
Simcoe selected the Forks of the
Thames as his choice for the future
Capital of the Provence. But the city
itself was not founded until 1826.
As the Capital of the United Kingdom
it became soon a City of Royalty. It is
one of the oldest of the world's great
Cities, and its actual history is span-
ning over nearly 2 millennia. It is by far
Britain's largest metropolis as well the
country's economy, transportation,
and cultural center.

tional connections and visitors from
all over the world. The British pride of
the Government does everything pos-
sible to keep up with London being
THE ONE attractive place in the entire
world. Whatever attractions, busines-
ses, entertainment, shows, music studios, theatres, movie makers, fashion design

The events calendar of the city is gigantic. All the main performances are already
worked out, named and dated. London is seriously moving up. The biggest attention
from now on will be on the Olympic Games for summer 2012. There are already lots of
projects running, where visitors can experience the whole glance and view of what
is planned and happening. Many businesses, sportsmen and associations are already
